[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] backend setting ignored

    Joost,

    the checkbox “Don’t update the XML sitemap automatically when a post is published.” is being ignored. I checked this box since my blog has 4,5k articles in it and I can´t do anything while the sitemap is being built.
    However, the sitemap is still being built each time. This leads to a rather big time gap before being able to use the backend again.

    using version 0.3.5 of the plugin

    Hey, version 0.4 will entirely change the code of the sitemap and won’t generate a static file anymore, removing all issues like these.
