[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Author Link in Page Code – Yoast

    I’ve followed the directions of adding the completed Google+ url to my contact info in WordPress, but the link code is being displayed within the code as relative.

    For example – in WordPress, I put in https://plus.google.com/117322785505925462671?rel=author but in the code, I see:
    <link rel="author" href="117322785505925462671?rel=author"/>

    So when I go to verify it – Get the following error

    linked author profile = http://www.hotsauceblog.com/117322785505925462671?rel=author
<strong>Error: Author profile page does not have an authorship link to a Google Profile. Learn more.</strong>

    Which is incorrect because the profile is verified – but it’s basing it on the way that the author code is being inserted into the Yoast Plugin within the header. I’ve manually added the correct code for now – but does anyone know why this is happening?
