    Hi Dan,

Did the latest update include a feature whereby clicking on all the site thumbnails takes you thru to a verify page on STW rather than directly to the portfolio site itself|?

    Thanks for the help

I'm finding the same problem. I need to disable the STW verification page and have links go directly to the portfolio site when you click on the thumbnail.

Never mind - I just saw the previous thread about the changes in STW policy. I will not pay them $10/month for 12 thumbnails which I'm going to cache locally anyway. I'll just grab my own.

It took me less than 10 min. to:
    1) download the thumbnails from my current portfolio page,
    2) put those thumbnail images in a folder and upload them via ftp to my website, then
    3) add the custom URL's for each image to the WP Portfolio admin pages.
    Done!

Now the only time I have to deal with STW is to enter a new website on the STW homepage http://www.shrinktheweb.com/ and download the resulting 320x230 image it returns. Or I could use any of several browser plugins or apps like Skitch or Jing to grab those portfolio site thumbnails and not deal with STW at all. Seems like STW could add an unobtrusive watermark or some other attribution for their free service instead of the unacceptable redirection to their verify page.

Other than this inconvenience to grab standard sized thumbnails (which is NOT the fault of the WP Portfolio plugin) this is a great plugin and adds significant value to my website.

Thanks for making a useful contribution to the WP community.

    Hi Chaps,

Yeah, Q2 on the new FAQ page.

I've not been able to get WordPress.org to use my new FAQ in the readme.txt. So I've created a new FAQ on my own website, and I'll link to it in upcoming updates in WP Portfolio.

So the new FAQ is here:
    http://www.wpdoctors.co.uk/our-wordpress-plugins/wp-portfolio/faqs/

    Kind Regards
    Dan
