   Will the WordPress Popular Posts plugin collect stats even if no widgets are active? I ask this question because I have just started a blog and I do not wish to use the popular posts widgets right now, but I want to have the visits recorded in the database for later use when I'm ready to put the widgets or use short code etc.

   Hi fr33think3r,

   Yes, it does. As long as WordPress Popular Posts is active (even if not used as a widget) it will record all your posts / pages views.

   Thanks for the reply. Is there any plan of adding a wordpress dashboard widget (admin)? It would be convenient to see what's popular and whats not.
