[resolved] Can't track hits to PAGES in Dashboard view (3 posts)

    With the last two plugin upgrades, I can no longer track the view to my WordPress PAGES in the Dashboard area. (I don't need to show them on the blog widget. I just need to know which PAGES are popular for SEO purposes.)

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

    Hi SilverHawk, thanks for posting this on a different thread.

    I just checked the code and I'm 99% sure that pages were not being included on the WPP's Dashboard. Fortunately, it's an easy fix. This is what you need to do:

    1. Using a text editor such as Notepad or Dreamweaver, open wordpress-popular-posts/stats.php.
    2. Around line 104, you'll find the shortcodes being used to display the data. Add the attribute pages and set it to 1 to include pages on the different listings. For example:

    <?php echo do_shortcode('[wpp pages=1 range=all stats_views=1 order_by=views wpp_start=<ol> wpp_end=</ol>]'); ?>

    3. Save changes.

    I applied your "fix", and now everything is working perfectly. Thank you for your help! :)
