So here is the deal. My site (http://www.mymymythos.org) has category boxes on the front page. I need users to only be able to post to a certain category (Mythos Journals) so that they wind up in the correct category box. Obviously I'll have to find an appropriate plugin for restricting categories for the users.

Ok nevermind on this one. This isn't even the right question to be asking. I'll have to post again.

  3. Ahhh, you;re using a theme that uses a category ID to pull categories in places.

If you;re pulling posts, then category IDs are all over the place.

You *can* turn on that global categories options in the db. It's just removed from the interface, not removed entirely.

Did some searching on turning on global categories. No luck yet. :\

  5. Did you look in the database?
Did you find the table & fields for it?
Did you change any of the values?

I know I haven't written a thing about it, so I'm not surprised you didn't find anything.
