• Hi,

First, I love this plugin. I have a myriad of hobbies and it allows me to have multiple hobby blogs that aggregate into my main blog. I do have a question though.

I use my main site mostly to aggregate. I was hoping there might be a way for the main site to ignore the categories on posts from other sites, and instead perhaps filter in a category name that I have determined for each site.

So basically instead of post A from subsite 1 having Category I II and III. THe main site would pull in post A, ignore the Categories from subsite 1 and instead assign a single category named “Subsite 1”.

Mostly I was hoping to use the categories to just give a single link to a single archive of my posts from that subsite. If someone wants to look deeper they just have to click on the title of the post to have them go to the subsite.

I am sorry if that made no sense. Also, once again thank you for such an awesome plugin!!!!

Oh, and I did realize one way to do it would be to navigate my subsites with only one category (the subsite category) and use tags for everything else. I was just hoping to maintain flexibility with my subsites.

The best way to accomplish what you are trying to do is make a custom theme for your tags blog that doesn’t show the categories/tags but adds a link to the sub site.
