Eliminate duplicates in BP Activity Stream (3 posts)

Plugin works as expected, so perhaps this is something of a feature request. The tags blog publishes an activity stream event seconds after the initial blog event pops up in the activity stream (leaving a duplicate of every post in the BP activity stream).

Is there a way to eliminate the tags blog from the BP stream. (I recognize this may belong in the BP forum, but can't seem to find an answer there).

I've tried this: http://blog.etiviti.com/2010/05/buddypress-block-activity-stream-types-plugin/ along with the ugly hack mentioned in that blog post to block the tags blog from the activity stream via ID#, which broke things and forced me to re-create the tags blog (thanks for the "populate posts" feature). Thoughts?

  2. Here's my thought:

    - if the BP activity stream shows all the blog posts from across the network, then why are you also using SWT?

And if you're trying to separate out the blog posts themselves, I'd go about it differently.

This is very much a buddypress question, as its things in your activity stream you want to block or change.

I'm a sucker for a pretty tag cloud, and the sitewide blog feeds a twitter account so that users can subscribe to blogs without creating tweets about every update, group activity etc.

I'll try the BP forums again. Thanks for the support.
