[Plugin: WordPress MU Domain Mapping] Preventing URL Rewrites
-
Hi everyone. I’ve installed a subfolder netwrok and installed the Domain Mapping plugin. I’ve successfully been able to access my domain and my subfolder via http://mydomain.com and http://mydomain.com/testfolder. However, my issue is that when I add a domain via the Domain Mapping plugin that maps http://mydomain.com/testfolder to http://newdomain.com it successfully maps the domain but the URL is rewritten to the original domain w/ the subfolder. I’d like the URL to stay http://newdomain.com.
Long story short, is it possible to use the domain mapping plugin to map a domain to a networked site in subfolder and prevent it from rewriting the URL? Do I need to make an addition to my .htaccess file?
Thanks!
