Support » Plugin: WordPress MU Domain Mapping » [Plugin: WordPress MU Domain Mapping] COOKIE_DOMAIN problem

  • I create new instance of WP multi site ‘subdomained’ (the next one). Add WordPress MU Domain Mapping plugin. After complex configuration i receive information on new created mapped site:

    The constant “COOKIE_DOMAIN” is defined (probably in wp-config.php). Please remove or comment out that define() line.

    Of course wp-config.php is free of ‘cookie_domain’ definition. Server error_log is empty.

    Configuration
    =============
    WP: 3.0.1
    Domain Mapping: 0.5.2
    DNS configuration: OK

    OK. I found sollution. Installation based on readme.txt:

    Copy domain_mapping.php into wp-content/mu-plugins/

    – generated problems. I move plugin into wp-content/plugins and after activation everything works fine! 🙂

    Hi,
    I have the same problem. Except that the plugin is already in wp-contet/plugins and I am now just getting a blank screen. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

    Move the domain_mapping.php file into wp-content/mu-plugins/

    Not copy, move.

    If you have copies in both places, you’ll whitescreen.

    Thanks for the prompt reply. I moved the entire plugin to the mu-plugins directory, the WSOD (white screen of death) is gone, but the initial problem of the “COOKIE_DOMAIN” is still present when I try to make an actual domain name into the primary name. Thanks.
