wpmp_transcoder puts its cached files in the plugins area in a subdirectory right next to the plugin code. This is really bad form, because any software backup results in copying the entire cache along and that's tons of files nobody needs.
I'd like to suggest a quick update to move the cache files somewhere else, probably wp-content/cache (create if it doesn't exist).
