   I just exported 6 hours ago and now importing all images #fail. Content post and pages go in but NO Menu either. Ugh!

   Any ideas how else to get the images back?

   I have been using and moving WP sites for years and the import images option has NEVER worked with this. Don't even know why it's in there on import if the feature never functions. Very frustrating.

   In practice I've always has to manually download the media directory to the new site and then do a find and replace (in a text editor) on the export file before importing to the new site. By changing the main url on the wp-content/uploads path you can route it to the new site where you uploaded the uploads directory from the old site.
