[resolved] WordPress HTTPS breaks css header graphic (10 posts)

    I have a wordpress dev site in a sub-domain of the real site while it is being developed. My ssl cert is for the main domain.

    I installed and activated wordpress https plugin in the dev site. The header graphic on the dev site disappeared. In Firebug I could see that the css is trying to load the header graphic as https. I see that's the problem.

    After the site is developed I will promote it to the main domain so then https should work, but is there any workaround to be able to keep the plugin activated while under development in the subdomain and still display all the graphics normally?

    Hey penmaster91604,

    Is the graphic being changed to HTTPS while you're viewing the page over HTTP?

    Mike, I just encountered this issue with a site im managing as well, but on the actual live site not a dev. The header and background images, as well as some others in other pages are coming in with HTTPS:// on them causing them to not show up.

    Suggestions?

    Hey Bozac,

    Thanks to a kind user I found a bug in the plugin and got it fixed. Please uninstall the plugin and download it again from the Dashboard. I hotfixed it into 3.0.3.
