   I have installed this plugin on http://www.realestate401kplan.com and set the options accordingly but I am still not able to get any SSL to work. The domain is an addon domain on host gator which means that it is not the primary domain but a secondary. The path for the shared SSL on the primary is https://secure995.hostgator.com/~planpro and my wordpress site is supposed to be at https://secure995.hostgator.com/~planpro/realestate401kplan.com/
   I have forced only one post to be SSL and its address is http://realestate401kplan.com/fanpage/first-fan-page-test/ so the SSL address is supposed to resolve correctly at https://secure995.hostgator.com/~planpro/realestate401kplan.com/fanpage/first-fan-page-test/
   But it does not. Any ideas?

   Hey mjefferson96,

   I'm seeing a 404 header being thrown at https://secure995.hostgator.com/~planpro/realestate401kplan.com/ so that tells me that it's probably not set up correctly. Unfortunately I can't be of much help there.

   Once that's working correctly, if the page gives you the WordPress page not found error, try disabling custom permalinks.

   does this mean you can your custom permalinks with this plugin?

   Hey tom-accent,

   It means you can't use custom permalinks with that particular Shared SSL. Even if you didn't use the plugin, custom permalinks wouldn't work. You'll need to use a Shared SSL that works properly, or purchase an SSL Certificate.
