    Hey silverbird62,

    Try changing your permalinks to the default. Some shared certificates have issues with custom permalink structures.

    Hi Mike,

    that worked! Thank you for the quick help. Is there any way to use custom permalinks with such a “messed up” certificate or do I have to switch my hosting provider if I want to use readable permalinks?

    Hey silverbird62,

    Nope. The sure fix is to purchase a private SSL certificate. Moving to another host could have the same problem if you use their shared SSL.
