Ok, here's the deal, my website has a httpdocs folder and a httpsdocs folder. I just can't for the life of me figure out how I make it so that I can access my admin page from https without having to have a copy of my WordPress site in both folders, which is madness surely? Can this plugin help me with this? Please do not redirect me to http://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Over_SSL I've already read it. I e-mailed my hosts (domain.com) about a virtual domain, as mentioned on that page, but they just said "we don't support custom WordPress installations". I've been through every option on my hosting control panel looking for "virtual domain" and there's nothing. What can I do?

    Hey BuckoA51,

There should be an option somewhere in your control panel to use the same folder for HTTP and HTTPS. If you can't find it, I'm sure your hosting provider will be able to point you in the right direction.

    Thanks,
    Mike

I wish it were that simple! I'll e-mail them again, thanks. If they can't help me, maybe I'll move hosts.

Apparently not, and my hosting company says not either, is there any other way before I consider a different host? Are their hosts that specialize in WordPress perhaps?

    Hmm, that's odd.

WordPress.com specializes in WordPress hosting. :P Otherwise I'd suggest Media Temple. I've used them for years.
