PROBLEM 1: on my site,www.26thandmane.com, when going in and out of the cart over a secure connection, the cart does not update. for example, i added 6 items in the cart but when i proceed to checkout its only two items there.

PROBLEM 2: there is a white bar that is only on the pages i've designated as sure using this plugin. all the other pages are fine. im using a shared ssl if that matters and using the latest version of the plugin.

I feel your pain! Have you managed to sort it out yet?

I'm having exactly the same issue with the cart not updating on buy now command, this is not only with https plugin but also better wp security. I was using that the security plugin first as it does a really good job but then cart would not update and be in continuous loop after it was updated to allow for ssl certificates on individual pages.

It must be related to ssl.

Do any wordpress boffins on here have any code suggestion for .htaccess, if it is possible.

    Thanks

Have you tried securing the pages that you add products on? It's possible the cookies that store the cart contents are not accessible for some reason.

Wow, thanks for the rapid reply my friend, nice one.

Yes I have tried activating for individual product pages but it still will not have it. I think you may be onto something there with the cookie suggestion but I'm still none the wiser.

I've posted over on better wp security forum too so I've got two avenues I'm exploring so hopefully we can find answers.

    Thanks anyway Mvied.

Well, 26thandmane is using a Shared SSL, which is likely the issue. If you want to use Shared SSL, you'll probably have to secure your entire site with it to make it work correctly. WooCommerce is actually using the current session to store the cart contents, not the cookie.

I'm using a templatic template so switching to woo now is a bit late. I'm also using dedicated ssl certificate with a dedicated ip so....

I'll plod along for now and if I find a remedy I will post back.

    Cheers...

I wasn't talking to you Pablo. I didn't know what you were using.
