I've just downloaded the 3.2rc1 release, and tried it - finally it worked with normal permalinks :) ... but for pages where I have edited the permalink using Permalink Editor http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/permalink-editor/, it doesn't work. I have manually added the URLs in the URL filters box, and that worked around the problem, but it would be really nice if it was possible to get it working with permalink editor without the need for this workaround. I notice that if I have a custom permalink, the wp_postmeta table gets the url path written to a row with meta_key of "_custom_permalink" - not sure if that will help with implementation...

This particular plugin isn't written in a way that it can work with my plugin. It could, but it's not. The author is not using the right filters.
