[Plugin: WordPress HTTPS] Administrator over SSL Setup Issues.

    I’ve setup using the expected: define(‘FORCE_SSL_ADMIN’, true); and added your plugin in the hopes that it would resolve the last of the issues I was having. (I was experiencing a ‘The page you are viewing has gone into a never ending redirection loop’) And it seems to have resolved it. Everything is being forced to a non-secure interface. Not exactly what i was striving for. 🙂

    Do you have any suggestions? The SSL interface and the Non-SSL interface both point to the same directory.

    Hey drahkar,

    The admin SSL feature of the plugin isn’t 100% yet. I’m still working out kinks. I’m hoping in the next version I can get it working properly, but differences in hosting environments seems to be the hurdle right now. I’ll keep you posted.

    That’s great to hear. I’m trying to figure out a way of implementing this that doesn’t required elaborate redirects setup within our Apache configuration. I’ve been fighting with various issues detailing with that and WordPress’s internal redirects.

    I’ll definitely be watching for the update. Any general thoughts on the timeframe? I’m only curious because I have a window I need to get things working within and I just need to figure out if I should just wait or work on a different, temporary, solution.

    Hey drahkar,

    I’d hate to have you miss your deadline, so try to work on a temporary solution. I’ve taken a few swings at getting it to work correctly, and it may turn out to be quite a bit of work.

    I’m currently in the middle of leaving my full time job to start my own business. My last day is next Tuesday, so next week or the week after, I should have an update out since I’ll have more time.

    I administrate a number of LAMP servers, so if you get caught on any snags, I may be able to help.
