• hi
thank you for this very helpful plugin

    1) Is there any way to make the post author (published submission) is the one who submit the form? ( subscriber role )

    2) Can they edit their submission data other than from the dashboard?

    3) what is the best way to print the summery?

    4) can i use form data to show only one user submissions?

    Thank you 🙂

For 1,2,4 the answer is unfortunately no, but these are definitely things that should have been included in the first place. I’m not adding new features until version 2, though. For 3, I have no good solution, other than to copy & paste :-/.

What then determines who is the post author?

Right now, the post author is always the admin.

I realize the ‘publish post’ feature needs more options. This is definitely on the list for v2.

For now let me point you to the section of the code that handles this. If you go to helpers.php line 436, you can change the ID of the post author. You can find the ID numbers in the wp_users table.

That’s a help for now. I’m running a multi-blog site, and each has its own administrator. Fortunately, only one of them is using the plugin so I can safely assign it to that blog owner.

Maybe if the author of the post could be the same as the author of the form?

That’s a really good idea. Currently the author of the form isn’t stored, so I’ll have to add that too, but that makes a lot of sense.
