[Plugin: WordPress eCommerce - MarketPress] Order Status page not showing correct (5 posts)

    Using Marketpress Lite, just installed and deciding whether to use it or something else. I have not added any products yet. The store page, the product page, and the shopping cart page look fine (just empty since there are no products or orders yet).

    BUT the Order Status page does not show correctly. In the body it shows (this part looks right):
    ===
    If you have any questions about your order please do not hesitate to contact us.
    Enter your 12-digit Order ID number:
    ===

    BUT this same information also shows up above my page header (just below the WordPress toolbar! This is certainly NOT correct and looks very bad. I can't use the plugin this way. I went to the plugin site and found the same question in the FAQ that was not resolved but found no way to post there even though I registered. Could it have something to do with my theme (Arras, which is somewhat common I think)?

    The page with the problem is here, unless I give up and try something else:

    How can I fix this please? I can't change themes and want a good and SIMPLE e-commerce plugin.

    Thank you in advance for your help! I do appreciate it!

    Update - The makers of the plug are saying I must pay to post in the support forum. Don't like that, since there is already a post there with no resolution to the problem. Maybe someone here can help?

    Or maybe I should try eShop or WP E-commerce or a different plugin. Anyone have experience with those?

    Another update - I commented out the following line, right after the <title>…</title> in the header.php file

    <?php arras_document_description() ?>

    Looks like it is working, but could that cause other problems? Anyone?

    I appreciate the help!

    As you gathered that's caused by a theme doing something weird it's not supposed to.

    Hello - I am running into the same scenario - wonder if you have found a resolution?
