We have items we need to ship by weight. How do we do this in MarketPress Lite? I don't want to pay their $35.00 membership fee only to find out it doesn't support it.

Hi cryptidresearch,
There's not a way to achieve that built into the plugin but the plugin's architecture has been designed to be easily extended.
As such, you can create your own shipping plugins and there's even a template you can use in the \marketpress-includes\plugins-shipping\ folder.
You can also take a look at the existing flat rate shipping plugin and use that as a base to build from.
The tough part, however, is figuring the products by weight, which would first entail creating a custom field.
It can all be done, but would require some custom development to achieve.
