   Hello,

   I wondered if there is a functionality possible for the member/user to delete/edit only their own uploaded files, rather than to be able to delete everyone's. I would thus like the functionality to restrict the ability to delete/edit uploaded files to 1) the user who posted the file, 2) to the admin user or higher user role.

   Is such a functionality possible?

   This is not supported since 'really' only admin users should be able to use the DLM admin pages.

   I suggest that if you are running a community based upload/download site you develop your own interface for uploading and managing user downloads...then you can limit access as you please.

   Try Capablity Manager Plugin in wordpress. It manages all the capabilities and restrictions for a specific group of users.
