   I have a few links to some downloads on a page and the lag from click to download is huge. Also if I click on more than one download at a time the site just hangs. All files are restricted and none will work unless force download is set. Could this be the problem?

   Whats the filetype? If your server can't handle reading the files (force download) then you may have to turn off forcing and zip them up instead...
