I have a client who needs something like a "pending review" status for file uploads. That is, new documents could be uploaded and not "made live" until an editor approves them - that includes new versions of existing documents.
I know the current WP core doesn't allow this, and something like Download Monitor, while it doesn't seem to support it either, is surely the first step to this kind of thing. You need a system to keep uploads hidden from public view until a database-stored approval flag is checked.
Is anything like this planned for Download Monitor? Has anyone achieved anything like this, either building on DLM or with another plugin? I've had a search and can't see anything similar.
