   I apologise if this should be directed elsewhere, but I thought I'd ask here.

   I'm in the process of tyesting the download monitor plugin, once I get used to it I'm sure it'll be great!

   however, is there anything in the plugin that will allow me to give "Editors" access to the "Add New" section of the "Downloads" menu?

   I realise this question may be better directed towards the core forum for WordPress, however I noticed that some of the other plugins I'm testing have different access levels in-line with user levels.

   You need an additional plugin like 'capability manager' to give editors 'user_can_edit_downloads' and 'user_can_add_new_download' capabilities.
