   After upgrading to wp 2.7 and to download-monitor 2.2.2, numbers of dowloads hits stop working... My site do not use mod_rewrite....
   I do not have idea why the plugin don't increase the downloads hits count.

   Same problem after upgrading to 2.2.3 ... hits count do not work !

   you need to log out from wordpess admin console.

   or just send a link to a friend, and have them click on it

   but i know that download-monitor do not count logged users hits; this problem has a different cause.

   Are you certain you are

   a) Not logged in
   b) Not using the custom url option?

   (just checking)

   Can I see a url that download monitor outputs please?

   Unfortunately i am using custom URL because mine provider it has problems with mod_rewrite..
   I have resolved temporary the problem migrating to WP-download-monitor... :(

   Custom URL also requires mod_rewrite so thats probably your problem.

   I used to be with a host which did not allow mod_rewrite: I left as soon as possible.
