When listed as Single downloads with format 4 , the downloads adhere to format 4 but when using [download_cat#10 format=4] or [download_cat#10 format="4"] the format of the downloads defaults to something other then format 4. Format 4 is set to be the default. I deleted all other custom formats.
How can I get the downloads listed by category to show a custom format.
Or what I want is to NOT show the hit counts or the (0). for all downloads. which is what the categories default to .
Or in other words I do not want to show hits, ever. Anyone tell me how to do this and be able to list downloads by category, which I have already spent a great amount of time organizing.

Just use the new shortcodes (your using the old ones).
