Being a community piece of software, why not have this plugin built in and let the admin simply be able to tick a box if they would like to contribute as a beta tester... also build in an easy reporting feature too?

Posted 2 years ago #The plugin isn't built-in because you shouldn't normally run beta software on your main site.
Therefore there needs to be a positive step to switch to beta software.
It is so simple and easy to install a plugin like this with the built-in installer which is just as simple as an option.
