    Hi
I’ve just installed the latest version of this plugin on to a client’s site and I see that the store backup in folder has changed.

In previous versions I could just specify the full directory name of where to store the backup. Now it seems to have changed.

I need to get my client to create a directory for the backup and share it with me. What is it called. It seems like it goes into apps/wpb2d. Is that correct?

    Thanks

Yes, by default backups are now stored in Apps/wpb2d because the plugin now uses the Dropbox ‘App Folder’ feature.

This feature keeps the rest of your Dropbox safe in the unlikely event that your server is compromised and your authorisation tokens are taken.

The cool thing about the App Folder is that you can move it anywhere in your Dropbox and the plugin will find it. I have mine in the root of my Dropbox.

If you need to store multiple backups in the same App Folder you can specify a sub folder to store them in.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Mikey
