Great idea for a way to automatically backup your website.
Sadly it just makes a SQL file of your mySQL database but never copies files into Dropbox.
I guess someday it will work..........

Gday perrymyk,
I have not heard of this issue before.
What errors are you seeing?
Cheers,

I installed the plug-in, hooked up my Dropbox account just fine, and when I click "Backup Now" it immediately makes a SQL file in my folder wp-content/backups and generates the following errors:
Backup started on 2011-10-24 at 06:04:17
Backup error on 2011-10-24 at 04:11:29: The backup process appears to have gone away. Resuming backup.

Nothing is backed up in my Dropbox folder WordPressBackup
Hope that helps.
Using your version.9
Using WP 3.1.1. since 3.2.1 has bugs in it...

My first backup using the weekly time seems to have started just a few minutes ago. It did the same thing....

I chanced the name of the folder from "WordPressBackup" to "WPBU01" and your plugin does not create that directory on DropBox - I created WordPressBackup manually before I ran your backup and I guess it would have never created the folder by itself.
Sounds like your plugin is not working with DropBox at all - although your plugin did get verified by DropBox and I see my name on your control page.

Updated to your .9.1 and when I view the backup in progress it's always stuck on file #3 - never created the backup folder and have no idea where file 1 & 2 went to.
Still no luck.....

Experiencing exactly the same thing - stuck on file #3, mysql backup but no files, not even a folder in dropbox.
Gday guys,
This issue has been bugging me for quite some time. It only affects a small amount of users and I cannot pinpoint the exact configuration that is the cause.
It could be that your server does not allow the plugin to read any file other then the mysql dump. Are you seeing a list of files in the exclude file widget?
I have also noticed a few issues in the PHP API that I am using that I am working through as we speak.
Hopefully I can get the plugin working for all soon!
Cheers,
Mikey
