Just ran the auto upgrade on my 2.6.1 install of WordPress. The plugin said it was done, but it hasn't upgraded to 2.6.2.

My colleague has done the same on a different site, and it worked. We did the exact same thing - why did it not work on mine, and why did it say it did?

Not sure why this has a resolved on it.

I a have also just tried to upgrade to 2.6.2 and have the same problem as above. The Read me file in the upgrade zip reports 2.6.1

When I log on towp-admin itsays you are running 2.6.2 upgrade to 2.6.2

Whats going on here and why wasthere a 2.6.1and soon after 2.6.2

How can I get rid of this message to upgrade when i have?Run the update screen a and it said I am up to date...

I upgraded to 2.6.2 twice but it still says it is 2.6.1 and invites me to upgrade. What is going on? I tried deactivating all my plug-ins, and that made no difference.

I have the same problem as "sunkejie" above.

I did it twice... Always end up the same.

my upgrade to 2.6.2 from 2.6.1 is also failing...

tells me everything is ok and proceed to backup... then shows just the blog header with a blank page.

    try again... same.
    deactivate, activate, try again... same.
tried skipping the backup... goes on to next step, but only as far as the "get latest - let's go!" and then blank screen again.

    no error message, nothing.

so I tried updating a different plugin, and it worked, everything else functions no problem.
