Correction, it also breaks in IE.

However, I’ve found the setting to turn this off so have done so and it’s working on all platforms now.

Workshopped, it would be extreamly nice of you if you could not only tell us that you have fixed the problem but also, HOW you did it!

I am not interested in reading about your success but rather about they way you went along to that success, so please post the fix here for everyone to read.

Hi Trog, I apologise for my lazyness. The reply was mostly for the developer so they did not need to investigate this issue, I’m guessing that they know where the setting is.

The setting is on the settings page, section “Amazon Product Preview Settings”, there is a little checkbox in the middle of the text, I needed to untick this. “If checked jQuery will be remapped to a new object prior to inserting the amazon code than remapped to $ after.”

The details are in the FAQ section: “Why is Product Preview not working for my website?”

    Hi,

I installed this plugin this week, but unfortunately it clashed with other plugins (genesis slider, portfolio slideshow), I have had to disable it.

How and what can I do to make WPAA work with other plugins installed?

    My site is: http://www.whattowearpost.com

    Thanks in advance.

Same for me. The WP Amazon Affiliate plugin disables the Genesis slider and does not show up (Adblocker disabled). Ticking the box Workshopshed described did save the Genesis slider, but the amazon widget still did not show up.

Does anybody know what plugin could be the culprit. I tried Genesis slider, that wasn’t it.

What other plugins are you using? If you list them I can look into it further.

Thanks mdbitz, that is very nice of you. I have the following plugins installed and active:

    – Akismet
    – Better Delete Revision
    – Better Tag Cloud
    – CloudFlare
    – CodeGuard
    – Digg Digg
    – FD Feedburner Plugin
    – Genesis Nav Menu Amplified
    – Genesis Responsive Slider
    – Genesis Simple Edits
    – Genesis Widgetized Footer
    – Jetpack by WordPress.com
    – nrelate Flyout
    – relate Related Content
    – SEO Content Control
    – TentBlogger RSS Reminder
    – Twitter Embed
    – Use Google Libraries
    – W3 Total Cache
    – WordPress Amazon Associate
    – WordPress SEO
    – WP-Polls
    – WP Most Popular

Do you think that these are too many plugins? Should I try to reduce?

    Many thanks!

I just went through this list and deactivated groups of plugins to maybe find the culprit, but this didn’t work. The amazon plugin never showed up.

I also tried to reinstall the problem, but that didn’t fix it either.

Maybe its worth to point out that on my dummy site (http://test.joachim-scholz.com/) the Amazon plugin works fine.

The real site can be found at http://www.joachim-scholz.com/academipad, in case this is helpful.

    cheers,

    Jo

Hi Jo what theme are you using?

    The Backcountry theme on Genesis.
