• Hi, I use Wordbooker with qTranslate for a bilingual website! Wordbooker works perfectly except that it post the titles in all (in my case 2) languages that its inserted and, if the article in the blog is short, it start to post the article in the 2nd language too.
If you don’t know qtranslate it works quite easily. It add a tag for each language inserted directly in the page, like this:
    <!–:en–>Title<!–:–><!–:it–>Titolo<!–:–>
Are you planning to add support to qTranslate selecting witch language or inserting by default the main one?

    Thanks,

    Mauro

I can look into either making Worbooker support it. In the short term if you set Wordbooker to use the Post Extract and then populate that field when you posr then you won’t get the tags and second language being displayed.

Yes, exactly. Tight now I get the double language in the post extract without the tags.

So what you are saying is that you’ve put:

    <!–:en–>Title<!–:–><!–:it–>Titolo<!–:–>

and the FB wall contains Title Titolo

    ?

So which text do you want it to display?

Well after some digging round and taking wild assumptions about his code I think I might have got it working.

Hi, I’m facing the same issue. Is there an update to this, how to get it work?
    Thanks in advance

Yes – I’ve got the code just about ready to go.

For my use is enought use the first language found; maybe someone other would prefer a way to chose the language to use in the post.

I’ve got it working so it displays the default language only.

Hi again, so how will the next steps look like to get it working? Will there be an update for the wordbooker plugin or do I have post articles in a specific way? Will there be a “how to” provided, which steps you have to follow?
    Thanks again!

    Can you try this version:

    http://www.pemmaquid.plus.com/wordbookerdebug181305.zip

download it, unzip it and load the files up onto your server so they over-write the existing Wordbooker files.

Thanks a million, it works now!

Yes, it works! Thanks a lot!!!

    Mauro

Is this feature integrated in the current version of wordbooker?

Have you tried it? The Readme shows that I added support formally at 1.8.14 in October 2010.

If its not working then please let me know.

It still works correctly to me 🙂
