I know there seems to be quite a few other posts regarding this, but never seen a definitive answer.

Regardless whether the "use thumbnail as only image" is checked or not - no "attached image" is passed through to facebook...

Looking into the html, og:image tag is added twice into the header - once with the correct attached image url, then again with the wordbooker-blank image.

Feel free to check the site and view the source here: http://www.wildchildmedia.co.uk/2012/03/super-stylish-2d-handbag/

and the result from wordbooker here:

Any help to get the thumbnails/attached images to work every time would be awesome!!

    Thanks,

If you've got some other plugin producing og tags then you can turn them off in the Wordbooker options.

    Hi Steve,
I've recently updated my version of Wordbooker and am having a similar problem where images in my posts are not automatically becoming thumbnails as before. The plugin was working beautifully before the upgrade, so I was wondering if there were any options I need to set or click in the plugin or in my posts to specify that I want an image thumbnail and not a blank thumbnail or should it work automatically as before? My images are really no bigger than they were previously and I don't think I have any plugins that might interfere with this process.

Here is a link to a recent blog post and its blank on my facebook page.

Any insight would be appreciated. :)

A diagnostic trace with the diagnostic level set to Show All might give you some idea about what is going on.

Is this the Post Diagnostics display option? Below the diagnostic messages it says, "Wordbooker appears to be configured and working just fine." Also, the Diagnostic Messages show no errors. What should I be looking for? Thanks!

In the advanced settings box - set the Diagnostic level to Show All and when you do a post you should see a lot of diagnostics related to the post including a lot about image handling.

Okay, so published a recent post and am looking at the Diagnostics. I imagine I should be looking at one of the Cache Refresh messages? In there, I see where Wordbooker is Setting Name, Status Name, Status URL, and user name. Should there be a Setting Photo message? The only other message I see related to photos is above, where it says: User has permission: Photo upload. Or am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks again.

No you need to be looking at the diagnostic messages from a post

Hmm. Okay, I talked to my blog editor, and she said that when she publishes a post the post is not publishing to Facebook, apparently. So forget everything I wrote above. I guess the real problem is that when she clicks to publish, the post does not show up on Facebook. What's interesting is, I did a test, created a new post and could see that the publish to facebook box was checked in the Wordbooker settings below. When I publish and the page refreshes, that option is no longer selected ... and it hasn't published to Facebook. The option to default publish to Facebook is selected on the main Wordbooker options page. Any clue what's going on here? Sorry for the confusion.

Have you set it so that one or both of the target walls is checked? Its all documented in the user guide.

Sorry for the late reply, but, yes, that was it. I'd missed the checking of that one box! Thank you for your help.
