Me too, I would really like my customers to be able to do this.
I also require this and am amazed as standard there is no option where a customer can input some details such as a PO number……

I’m working on creating a plugin that does essentially that. However, in my case, it’s “card on file”. The catch is that the card on file is not stored in woocommerce – it’s in our quickbooks system. So, if a user completes an order using this, we manually run the order using their card “offline”, and then mark the order as processing/complete. (
In my case, I only want to display this payment method for members with the “cardonfile” attribute enabled in their profile – so they’d need to be logged in prior to ordering – this is the part I haven’t completed yet.
Let me know what your requirements are, and I can make this plugin available to you. I’m essentially just copying the code from the “cheque” payment method, adding some modifications, and packaging it into a separate plugin.
I guess I should’ve called this “purchase order” rather than “invoicing”…
FYI – I’m working on adding support to enter a PO# at the time of checkout.
Inputting and storing is the easy part.
Getting it to display alongside all the other order data is a bit of a pain.

I tried to contact you through your website but the captcha on your contact form didn’t appear in my browser. Either way, could this plugin be customized to allow for file upload along with entry of the PO number?
I’d like our customers to be able to upload a PDF of their purchase order when selecting PO as the payment option.
