Hello everyone! I have having an issue placing an order using WooCommerce.

    Here is the website: http://www.everbloomflowershop.com/

*It is worth noting that some of the links are currently broken, I am working on correcting them in the woocommerce code. So right now, I am relying on the top navigation.

On the checkout page where it displays the order, under shipping it says:
“Sorry, it seems that there are no available shipping methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.”

If I ignore this and click on the “Place Order” button anyway, I get two error messages:

    -invalid shipping method
    -invalid payment method

The latter confuses me because Woocommerce did not show payment methods until the error message appeared. I have Authorize.net DPM, a Woocommerce Plugin, installed. Once the payment methods are visible, if I click on “credit card payment,” and continue to try and place the order, I am taken back to the:

“Sorry, it seems that there are no available shipping methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.”

I have “Local Delivery” as my primary shipping method for Woocommerce, and products can only be shipped to the United States- California, at the zip codes I have defined.

If there is any additional information you need to know, please inform me! Thank you for your time.

I’ve got the same issues as ‘yourdigitaldave’ using the Canada Post plugin – but we’re just shipping in Canada only. We get the same error message:

Sorry, it seems that there are no available shipping methods for your location (Canada). If you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements please contact us.

I’ve made sure that the sizing and weights are the same throughout the website for consistency, the store’s base country is set for Canada as are the dollars (CDN), the Canada Post API settings were double-checked, and the same error message comes up in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. Also, as of today, I updated the WooCommerce to it’s latest version 2.0.7.

I created a WooCommerce ticket a few days ago (http://support.woothemes.com/requests/38994) but no response so far.

If someone out there has a solution, please share!!

    Many thanks!

When testing WooCommmerce shipping plugins, remember this one thing: It caches shipping results based on your current cart, so to force it to update the results you have to change the cart. The easiest way to do that is to do your test, then increment a product qty in the cart by 1, then test again ( don’t reuse a former qty, always increase qty to something never used previously for the current session ), — repeat.

This might have changed at some point, but if I remember right it caches shipping results, so you have to break the cache by changing the cart for testing purposes.

I did as you said and the result unfortunately was the same.

Because I am currently working in Firefox, I opened Safari, reset the cache, then went to the website and placed an order with a different amount of product, selected the shipping province/postal code – but got the same shipping result.

I just don’t know what to do at this point.

After checking on a few other forums, another suggestion was to deactivate WooCommerce and then reactivate it. No guarantees, but it’s worth a shot. (If you haven’t deactivated the Canada Post plugin, that may also be an option…)

As for my own situation, I’m a little apprehensive because the issue seems to have fixed itself. Never a good thing since it cold appear again, but at least the store is working now.

SOLUTION FOR ERROR MESSAGE ‘Sorry, it seems that there are no available shipping methods for your location’
(this method solved this problem for me).

    1- Go To WooCommerce Plugin
2- Select SHIPPING Tab (where you will find all shipping methods).
    3- Select FREE SHIPPING Tab.
4- Scroll down to ‘FREE SHIPPING REQUIRES‘ and select the option ‘N/A‘ (it comes with default selection ‘a valid free shipping coupon’).

    Hope this helps..! 🙂

Well, I deactivated all the woocommerce plugins (woocommerce, canada post, seo, invoice/packing) then reactivated them. I cleared all my caching in Firefox, Chrome and Safari – then tried it – but the issue still exists.

I also tried the Free Shipping suggestion and changed the ‘free shipping requires’ to N/A, but unfortunately, this too, did not work.

It seems like a lot of people are having this issue, yet I don’t see anything in the WooCommerce forum about a solution. My ticket is still open after several days and no one has been assigned it yet.

Sorry you’re still having issues @saundersfamilyfarm. I agree, it seems like a lot of us are experiencing this issue and a few have commented that there hasn’t been a sufficient acknowledgement from Woo regarding it.

On last thought. Do you have “Specific Countries” (with Canada chosen, in your case) set under all of:
    – the WooCommerce General tab
    – the Canada Post tab under Shipping
    – the Free Shipping tab (with Free Shipping Requires… A valid free shipping coupon)?

You may not be using the Free Shipping option, but you don’t have to really use it unless you create that coupon.

I’ve also got all options checked under the Shipping Options tab, except for “Only ship to the users billing address” and “Collect shipping address even when not required”

I’m just passing along what my setup is. As I said, shipping on our shop is now working (somewhat mysteriously) and without an actual solution from Woo, trying to find the right combination of settings may be all we can do…

Error code AA004 – You cannot mail on behalf of the requested customer.
Please help us to resolve it ?
or give us suggestion how we resolve it,

Hi – yes, I did try your suggestions regarding the Free Shipping, but it too did not work.

I’ve got those same options NOT selected: “Only ship to the users billing address” and “Collect shipping address even when not required”.

You are not the only one who’s WooCommerce theme started working mysteriously!

Today, I made sure that we had:

-the latest versions of: WordPress, WooCommerce, Woocommerce All-in-one SEO Pack, WooCommerce PIP, WooCommerce Canada Post.
-that our Woothemes Licenses were activated.
-Under WooCommerce System Status, we did change the WP Memory Limit to 64M in the ‘php5.ini’ file in our File Manager with our hosting company Godaddy.
-I checked for plugin conflicts by deactivating all the plugins, then reactivating the woocommerce plugins – but the shipping issue remained.
-Then, I checked for theme conflicts by switching to the default wordpress theme, I also deactivated all the plugins, then reactivated the woocommerce plugins, but the shipping issue remained the same.

    Seriously frustrating.

I’m using the UPS plugin, USA & Canada shipping, and I also have the message that says “Sorry, it seems that there are no available shipping methods for your location (United States). If you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements please contact us.”….. Was there a solution to this problem?

Only solution I can find: Enter the dimensions of each product, along with weight. For me, it will only provide a shipping quote if I enter dimensions. You will also want to turn on the recommended packing method, and enter your available boxes and maximum weight for each available box. It’s time consuming, but it’s the only way I’ve been able to get it to work.

I used a work-around for my website with the same problem. Although, I am making an e-commerce site for online ordering and the customer pays at the store. So instead of using just cash on delivery as the only option, I activated cheque and just changed the name to “Pay at store” and the description to “Pay with your preferred method when you pick-up your goods.”

It seems that it doesn’t read cash on delivery as a real option, so I just changed the description of cheque.

I don’t know if this helps any of you but that’s how I solved it

Problem soved for ‘free shipping’ shopping cart scenario:

Head to wooCommerce > Settings > Shipping.
Ensure you have ‘free shipping’ radio button selected.
Select “Free Shipping” from the text menu item at the top.
Select “N/A” from the “Free Shipping Requires…” drop down.

Whilst in this area, click on “Payment Gateways” tab. then select PayPal text menu. Ensure you don’t have ‘Enable PayPal Sandbox’ selected.

    Test checkout.

    Hope this helps.

Hello i was using WooCommerce UPS Version 1.0.8, it was working well, populating shipping costs but it wasn’t allowing me to use negotiated UPS pricing for my client. So i downloaded and licensed UPS Shipping Method Version 2.0.4 – using all the same UPS information (account, access key , etc) it will not show any information – woocommerce does not even recognize the UPS shipping method on the checkout page.( I get the Sorry, it seems that there are no available shipping methods for your state) If i enable another method( i.e. pickup) it will use that, if i reactivate version 1.0.8 that version still works. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks
