I am trying to get the layered nav options configured like this

I have say 5 product categories in the categories nav widget

    1 cat
    2 cat
    3 cat
    4 cat
    5 cat

I have assigned attributes to several products within different categories

I would only like those attributes to show up in the navigation, only when clicking the corresponding category

can someone show me how to do this please

    thank you

Attributes will only show those with matches, so if you have categories with varying attributes only the relevant ones will display.

Thank you I understand that but this is what it looks like..

I have 7 different Product categories. Any of those widgets that say "Shop By" are the attributes under the Lenses category. I do not want those to show up unless someone clicks the Lenses category. Same thing with the other categories once I assign them products and attributes..

    Thank you

Maybe if there was some way to hide the attributes widgets only on the index (main page) that would work. Any ideas?

    Thanks

Thank you mike I have installed this just having one more issue. I cannot seem to figure out what the hook is for woocommerce to exclude the attributes on the main page :(

Anyone have an idea or used this before?

is_post_type_archive( 'product' ) is the conditional you can use.

Thank you Mike, but that completely removes them from all pages :(
