• I know this is probably an easy question, but I don’t want to risk deleting pages that I won’t be able to get back later!

I am using a WP theme with woocommerce, and on the navbar, there are the tabs ‘account, checkout, cart, track your order’, and I do NOT want those to show up on the navbar on every page. I obviously want the pages to exist, so I can’t delete them, but on the top right of my page there are links to all those things already, so I don’t need it junking up my nav bar, and I don’t want to make them a child of anything else on the nav bar.

So, how do I keep those pages in existence, but not allow them to show up on the horizontal navigation bar? It seems I only have the option to either delete the pages or make them a child, neither of which work for me. What do I do for the latter, make a tab that says ‘all the junk I don’t want anywhere else’?

  • Try the plugin ‘exclude pages’ – then visit the pages you want to hide from your nav, and select the checkbox that now appears to allow you to exclude them – they should still function as designed, as they have not been deleted – just hidden from nav structure (unless you override them by making them show in your custom menus)

If your theme uses wp nav menu (it should), you can simply not add that to the menu. It will still exist as a page. It should be a simple drag and drop operation.

I have the exact same problem.

Yes, thank you andyro, this plugin knows how to solve it right away!

(Royho, ofcourse i’ve tried your method too, but it didn’t work for my theme.)

    Problem solved 🙂
