  • See the tax settings in WooCommerce. WooCommerce > Settings > Tax. You can add multiple rates, and set up tax classes if products differ.

I’m sure the user works in Germany.

the second problem he will have is the following:
How to set the shipping tax rate to i.e. 19% for a product which has been taxed for 7% ? Currently is not possible.

And here the third problem to deal with:
if you get an order of 100€: 60€ (vat 19%) and 40€ (7%)
and you have 10€ shipping costs

the tax rate for the 10€ shipping costs should be calculated like this:
    19% on 6€
    7% on 4€

Unbelievable but a lot of German shops owner doesn’t know that either.
    Solutions:
    1) write a plugin
    2) free delivery

People at woocommerce: tax classes is just part of the solution for EU countries

    Hi dagofee,
did you find a solution for this specific problem?
Does anyone know if it is possible to have a set value for the shipping tax?

not really, I decided to switch to another e-commerce.
WooCommerce is really an innovative plugin, but it’s still too “young” for my taste.
Even after a lot of extra coding, major functionalities were still missing and I had to look for alternatives which were anyway not complete

    Thanks for the update!
I will try to find a solution for that..
