• I have some issues with the breadcrumbs. I always ran Breadcrumb NavXT but with Woocommerce it seems to get complicated as it was always showing me: Blog > simple > product name
So it was showing the post type instead of the page (which should be Shop).
I disabled Breadcrumb NavXT to see what the internal breadcrumbs from Woocommerce are up to. But when I disable Breadcrumb NavXT, there are no breadcrumbs at all, even though they are enabled in the Woocommerce settings.
I was running MarketPress before which is featuring a similar shop approach via post types, taxonomies, etc. I believe this might have messed up my WP installation a bit :-/

    Anyone seen similar issues?

    Thanks,
    D

  • I don’t know about your theme, but I don’t think it should mess with WC at all.

    A few things to double-check :

what you have defined as your “shop” page in our woocommerce settings ( pages tab) and what is the title of this page?

in your WordPress reading settings do you have static page as your “posts” page…. if so, what is it called?

I am using the graphene theme modified as a child theme

I defined a page name shop as the shop page. The base page title is All Products

I don’t run a static page. I use my latest posts.

Ok, I fixed it. It was just some settings in the breadcrumb NavXT Settings. Thanks for the help.

Excellent. I was really grasping at straws to think of things that could be related. cheers.

    🙂

For the other: Have a look at the post types tab in the NavXT settings. There you’ll find sections for Product, Variations, etc. Make sure to set your root page there according to the setting in Woocommerce!
