    Hi,
I’m new to woocommerce so any advice or tips would be appreciated!

I’m having difficulty sorting out product variations.

I have shoes size 2-9 and with about ten different color variations.

I’ve added the variations in the attributes tab and then under the variations tab i’ve selected the ‘Link all variations’ button which looks to have linked some of the variations but not all.

When i view the product the two drop down menus are there showing shoe size and color. I am able to select a size but then when i choose a color none of the options appear. Does anyone know what i might be doing wrong?

(I know this forum isn’t for third party plugins but i’m doing this on behalf of a client so don’t have access to the woocommerce fourms)

just as an update I tried the variations with one shoe size.

for example i only added ‘Size 2’ as a show size option and then linked all the different colors to it.

Now when i view the product i can still see size 2 but none of the colors are showing in the second drop down…..

Ok, I’ve narrowed it down to any new attributes that i set up wont display as a product variation.

For example i created a new attribute called ‘test’ with the variances of ‘1’,’2′ and ‘3’.

I then created a new variable product with ‘shoe size’ and ‘test’ as the attributes and then linked all the product variations.

On the product page itself the shoe sizes show in the ‘shoe size’ but none of the variations (1,2, and 3) show up with it.

Any ideas anyone? I’m running out of ideas!

turns out the product needs to be published and not saved as a draft…
