Plugin wiped files from installation twice!

For the second time the plugin has wiped out all files from the WP installation. The folders remained but at a random point (following a Garbage collection email by about 4 minutes) the files were all removed; every single one of them.
In every other sense the plug in works great but this is the second time that I had to restore a client site from a backup resulting in loss of content uploaded since the backup and a couple hours of work to restore to state.
