Widget Builder
[resolved] Won't Delete from Sidebar/Not visible on Front End (5 posts)

I created a widget with widget builder, added it to my sidebar and decided I didn't need it. I deleted the widget from widget builder before I deleted from my sidebar. It is completely gone from widget builder and does not show on the front end; however there are blank numbers and spaces where it used to be in my sidebar. How can I get rid of that blank space??

Can you take a screenshot to show me what you are seeing? if the widget is deleted through the widget builder it should be deregistered as an available widget. I will double check on this. In the meantime, after taking a screenshot, can you click the header of the widget block in the sidebar and drag it off the sidebar? That should have the same effect as clicking "delete" within a widget instance.

Thanks for looking into this! I had tried with a previous widget which I deleted directly from widget builder. The deleted widget showed up as a number in my dropdown and a open space in my front end sidebar where my widget should have been. When I restored it from my trash, it popped up immediately and i deleted it from my sidebar. The problem now is the widgets showing up now have already been deleted from my trash, and I can't restore them to delete them. If that makes sense?lol

Thank you for the screenshots, I have identified a possible solution for this issue and will release a new version soon to fix the issue along with some more minor enhancements.

Awesome! Love the plugin. I was able to fix the problem by restoring my theme.
