   Hi Paul,

   I'm running WP 3.2.1 and BP 1.5 and I have installed the plugin BP Disable Activation so I'm wondering if there is any way that I can send a welcome message to a user after they have registered or logged in for the first time. I don't want to use an activation email, I like the users to be able to sign up and be logged in right away but I'd love to be able to send a customized welcome email after they've been on the site for the first time. Is this possible through your welcome pack?

   Hi jannon,

   I'm afraid not. The 'Welcome Message' feature is similar to what you want, but it sends a private message in BuddyPress, not an email.

   thanks Paul for the reply. I think for now then, I'll just set up an email through mailchimp that will go out a day after they register.
