Watermark RELOADED
Create watermark as ratio to image size rather than static size (3 posts)

It would be nice if the watermark could be set to be a ratio or percentage of the size of the image. The way it's currently set up, the watermark takes up a different amount of space on the image depending on what size of the image you're using. If you're looking at the full size image, the watermark is relatively small compared to the rest of the image. If you're looking at the medium image, the watermark takes up a large percentage of the image space.

    Example:
    Full size: http://cdn.cconover.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/N3USP-Antenna-Mast.jpg
    Medium size: http://cdn.cconover.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/N3USP-Antenna-Mast-300x225.jpg

I thought about this option, but there is a problem, because if I do watermarking in "ratio", then the watermark on small images (thumbnails) will be microscopic, thus making it useless.

Perhaps users could have the option of setting the size of the watermark for each different type of image size available in WordPress?
