This is good and includes nice options BUT

What it does actually is adding a watermark underneath the image, where then can anyone easily crop it!

I believe watermarks should be on the same image AND on the position we want:

top left – top center – top right
middle left – middle center – middle right
bottom left – bottom center – bottom right

    Thanks

    Hello Sultan,

Thank you for your feedback, but you misunderstood the purpose of this plugin, which is: to add a watermark underneath the original image – a 9GAG clone, if you will.

By adding the watermark underneath the original image, you can hide the watermark with CSS or JS, so it doesn’t bother people. I mean.. come on, who really wants to see your watermark ? And if someone copies the link to the image and sends it to their friends or something, bam! they see the watermark.

So you see why I chose to make the plugin this way ?

Anyway… the internet is full of the same pics (some with watermarks directly on the image, some underneath, some with no watermark at all), and if someone really wants a pic, well… they can find it.

And anyway, there are lots of plugins designed they way you want…

Okay, I see now what it should does — thank you G0dLik3 for the clarification

Yet, I just want to say that, there are many people that would like to copyright their pictures especially if they own them like photographers.

    Thanks

    My pleasure.

Like I said, there are lots of other plugins for that 🙂

Hey, would you mind telling me what code exactly I have to put and where in order for it to hide the watermark until someone copies the image link?

That can be done with CSS and it depends on the structure of your site’s html.
