    Hello,

I'm wondering if anybody has experienced problems getting W3 Total Cache and Wapple Mobile Architect plug-ins to play nicely together.

Initially when W3 Total Cache is set-up desktop uses receive the correct cached pages.

I have the pass through theme option enabled in the user agents settings for W3TC to allow the Wapple Mobile Architect plugin to do its thing for mobile users, which it does.

However, what then happens is that the cached mobile pages now become the default pages for desktop users as well.

Any ideas on how to resolve the mobile and desktop cache problem ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Nic

Are you using the default user agent groups?

    Hi Frederick,
Yes, I've switched now to WordPress Mobile Pack and I'm getting better results. Think I had a compatibility issue with another plugin and Wapple.
    Thanks for responding.

I have the same problem, but I don't want to switch to another plugin. I tried them, but Wapple Architect Mobile is way better than the others. Is there any solution?

I have no idea, it would be nice to hear from that plugin author first hand.

I had the same issue. Too bad because I agree Wapple could be the best mobile plugin for WP. It loaded very fast and the page sizes were nice and small. Good looking design too. But desktop users were often shown the mobile version. The Wapple plugin doesn't append the URLs so the page URL of the mobile and desktop themes are exactly the same. One of the fixes they need to do IMHO would be to have Wapple-generated pages use a different URL (like .../mobile )and include a canonical tag. I've written to Wapple and received no response.
