[W3TC] Issues while reloading page and style.css (7 posts)

My site is powered by W3TC and its awesome. But, from past many days am having a problem. Whenever I do any changes in my Style.css or something, then it dosen't reflects back when I refresh my website.

Now, I know about browser cache so I clear it every time before I refresh and also I 'Empty All Caches' from W3TC as well after doing any modifications.

In past everything was fine I used to do changes in code/style.css-> then Empty All Caches-> then Clear my browser cache-> then refresh my website and everything used to work nice.

But not now. Why? Did I do something wrong with the settings? Or something else?

I have attached the screenshots of various setting pages of W3TC. Any help would be great. Thanks and thumbs up for such an awesome plugin.

You should enable the "Prevent caching of objects after settings change" option to add a query string to URLs that makes it easier for your changes to "break through" browser caching.

I am having the same issues. I minified some of my theme's Javascripts then procedded to clear the cache, clear my browser's cache, and even went in to the CDN options page to purge the files manually. Several days later, many cache purges later, and I'm still seeing the old .js files.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Site: http://electroams.com

    Example files:

    http://cdn4.electrojams.com/wp-content/themes/wp-bold/js/suckerfish-cat.js?9d7bd4

Change a setting under Browser Cache tab like Expires header lifetime. The query string is based on the settings so if they are not changed a new query string is not generated. This should cause NetDNA to pull the new style.css file.
