   Hi,

   Checking the apache log of my website http://www.ottimizzazione-pc.it I noticed a very frequent error:
   Request exceeded the limit of 10 subrequest nesting levels due to probable confguration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace., referer: (here is the url).
   The error occurs for lots of urls of the website.
   My hosting provider says it's due to a bad configuration of the htaccess file.
   My plan doesn't allow to raise the limit, and I'm also worried that this error impacts on the loading time for my users. I indeed have a high bouncing rate. So I would like to fix this error, possibly without having to give up W3TC.
   Checking the htaccess the problem seems to be that there are two <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>: one is introduced by W3TC (dis-activating the plugin this disappears), the second on is the original mod_rewrite.
   If I dis-activate the W3TC plugin, the error disappears.

   How should I change the htaccess file to be able to avoid this error (that, I repeat, disappears when W3TC is dis-activated) and at the same time keep using the W3TC plugin?

   Have you tried the latest version of the plugin and do you still have issues?

   I'm getting the same issue suddenly as well - and it is solely as a result of using the latest version of the plugin. I didn't change anything in my htaccess file. If there is some significant change that needs to be made (it's rather complicated like marco's) then perhaps you might be able to let us know what has changed?

   Thanks for coming back. As I wasn't able to solve this issue I had to switch to another plugin. But I'm going to try again the latest version of W3TC soon and will let you know.
